Welcome to the second DHM Reflections & Ripples 'blogpost'
We had such wonderful feedback from last month’s blog, so the pressure is on to keep the standard high.
The first point of business has to be the birth of Peter & Sarah’s baby …..
…..drumroll please ….
ITS A GIRL !!
As you may or may not know our Peter and his wife Sarah had a beautiful baby girl mid-February and they have named her Rose. I have no doubt they will share more of their exciting news in their own time but for now let’s thank God for this precious gift.
‘For every good and perfect thing is from above’ James 1:17
February was exactly how God planned it.
It has gone by in the blink of an eye and as always (I am discovering this more and more in DHM) the list keeps growing because the Kingdom of God has no end.
So now that February is done & we are about to ‘Spring’ into March, I for one am ready to see the back end of the cold weather. That being said, if you have been joining us in St Patricks Church Hall on a Thursday night you will be able to vouch for how toasty it has been. We are so thankful to have this space to come together and hear God's word, share in worship & pray for each other. Each week we are seeing new faces so be sure to introduce yourself to someone.
We started February with Holy Communion led by Brother David and if you missed it, you could always watch it again by following the link below.
Our next Holy Communion service will be March 6th, and it never disappoints. Maybe you could encourage a friend & invite them along.
Our very own Fergus McMorrow shared a beautiful and tender word titled ‘The Father Ran’ followed by myself speaking on the importance of our names ‘I know you by name’. Neither Fergus nor I knew what the other person was speaking about when dates were decided so it’s good to see the spirit working through us in unity. I would highly recommend going back and re-listening to these.
This month in a nutshell
We are always praying away in the background listening to what God is saying to us (that is when I am quiet long enough). But equally we love to hear what you, our community, have to say. As DHM moves forward we are prayerfully considering our weekly live stream which has now been running for over four years – if you click below you will see the first one from January 2021– how fresh they all still look!
Again, we had meetings, appointments & gatherings both within the team & with outside organisations.
Here is an insight into our monthly team meetings
I personally met with members of Good News UK, and we were generously gifted with 200 New Testaments to use for outreach, so if you have anyone you would like to gift one to, feel free to take one from our services to pass on.
Another day was held in Larne arranged by one of our team members Naomi, if you haven’t seen her work already you can check her out with the link below, super talented, super gifted & a wonderful woman of God we are very blessed to have her as a part of the ministry. The team had a very good day being led by David Legge on deliverance ministry.

Who loves free stuff? Me 👋 Me 👋
I have designed 4 ecards with scriptures, and they have been added to the website. These are free to send if you change the custom amount, but we would encourage you to pay even a few pounds and help support the ministry work.
We really couldn’t do it without the generosity of you guys, and we are thankful for everything we receive.
If you feel led to support DHM financially I can help you set that up but equally we appreciate your prayers, your time and your presence. As my Nanny would have said ‘there’s more than one way to skin a cat’ although I’m not sure how biblical that is?
Maybe don’t go skinning any cats please.
Let me know if you like the cards!
Speaking of free stuff – we all know that love is free and seeing as it is the month of St. Valentine then perhaps a little love story is what you all need?
Isn’t God good?
Back in 2015 I was on a night out in town with a friend and as was my usual story I had a few too many beers & fell (quite literally) at my now husbands’ feet. I tried to make it a dance move, but he saw right through me & my antics. You see Mark was a doorman at the bar I was in, and in that moment, something changed, at the time we didn’t know it but when we look back now we both know that God had a plan to turn bad for good as He so generously & graciously does. After a year Mark finally asked me out for coffee and it was the best date I have ever been on, he brought me a gift (great start), we listened to each other’s stories, and we laughed so much my stomach hurt. Mark probably laughed more than I did because I’m the ‘funny one’
That was August 2016, we are still young in our time together but the first flush of love is behind us as everyday life takes over. But that young rush of love is replaced by something much better, much deeper and much more stable.
It’s like God's love. We first come to him giddy with excitement at this new thing in our life, then time goes on and we take a few knocks, and we realise that the steadfast love, the enduring love, the real love is what we are left with. His love never changes.
Jesus will forever be my valentine but keep my marriage in your prayers won't you .. because it isn’t always easy, right?
Back to business
New books have been added on the website & new items are coming soon!
We are blessed to have authors in the team so you will now find both Don Howes book & Packie Hamiltons book available to purchase online.
My creative side is coming out & I am enjoying making things to help release faith in healing. Keep an eye on the website & on Facebook for more items being added.
Speaking of releasing faith -
David Davidson spoke a powerful word on healing which would be worth going back & listening to again - you can hear this on YouTube.
A little challenge (because I am not done with the love theme) – did anyone go on a date this month? I went on several. Maybe take some time and go on a date this month, with your partner, your friend, your mum or yourself!
Allow yourself time away from the norm & you’ll maybe discover something you once thought was lost.
My first date this month was with my husband, we went up the Mournes (Hares Gap to be precise). We did this when we were quite early on in our relationship & it was a lot easier the first time that’s for sure! But here’s the thing, we were so busy looking at where our feet were going, avoiding uneven rocks, swamps & drops that we barely got to look around. How often I find myself looking down to see where I am stepping that I forget to look at the beauty around me.
Here we are at the top when we did sit down, rest, eat & take it all in.
I also had a date with my son, he insisted on taking me for breakfast for valentines & like the gentlemen that he is he even paid (with my bank card)! But he is learning the importance of time set aside for people, he is learning the art of conversation & being polite. He told me his best prayer is ‘Jesus’ that’s it, he says ‘Jesus’ spreads his hands out and knows He has it covered.
Out of the mouths of babes.
and yes he did have cake for breakfast..
My last date was with my best friends from high school. We reminisced about the days of learning to drive, going to our end of school formals, we talked about people we have lost since school, lives taken and hearts broken. We then went to watch Bridget Jones ‘mad about the boy’ which basically involves a widow and her two young kids navigating life after the loss of her husband (their father). This sparked something in me, something that made me realise so many people do not know their fathers love whether that is earthly or heavenly. I hope mine & Fergus' talk's about the Father running to you & knowing you by name will reach the people it is meant to reach.
Prayer points & Testimonies
We started to offer personal prayer via zoom link this month and it’s been such a blessing to be a part of this. You guys are just so lovely, and it’s been great to get to know some of you better through this way.
If you would like prayer via zoom, drop an email to sharon@divinehealingministries.org and don’t forget to send me your testimonies too.

February prayer points (the ripples)
This month we are taking time to pray for the prodigals. Let’s call them back home.
Dear Lord, I bring before you ____________, Father draw _________ back home to Your loving arms. Just as you seek the one lost sheep, I pray that You find ___________ wherever they may be. Soften __________’s heart and open their eyes to Your love and grace. Grant me peace and strength as I wait. I trust in You and Your perfect timing as I place _______ in Your hands.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen
We are also asking if you would pray over the land, Ireland, Northern Ireland, The UK, the nations! Let’s pray for revival! Let’s pray for God's Kingdom to come!
There are several big events coming up that you can still get involved with.
I have linked two below.
As always, I will end with a scripture that has been pressing on me each month. Perhaps it will resonate with you too.
Psalms 9:1-2
“I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High”
Amen.
